Kobe Groupies Coming out of the Woodworks

Wow, we're starting to get comments from all these Kobe groupies, who seem to hate that the truth is being told about their "superstar." We are very happy to encourage discussion about Kobe, the Lakers, the NBA and sports in general. In fact, this is one of the reasons we started this blog. However, if you have nothing intelligent to say, or can't write sentences without using curse words or crude comments, don't post here.

Also, we seem to be attracting attention from other blogs. One, in fact, claims that we only post when Kobe has a bad game. If this person actually looked at the dates of our postings, he would notice that we've posted almost every single day since March 7, and this blog was only born in late February. It's also obvious that the Lakers don't play every single day. I could fill in the non-game days by posting "Kobe Sucks," but this is not a blog for 1st graders, despite what some of our juvenile Kobe fans might think.

why do you keep saying he is a rapist? the charges were dropped in favor of a civil suit = the accuser wanted money a.k.a. she made the whole thing up

hate him for his basketball, don't hate him b/c of his personal life.

To anonymous:

I never said he was a rapist. All the comments about that have come from other posters. The only thing relating to the rape case I have in this blog are links to some cartoons, which I just found entertaining.

I think I make a pretty good effort in this blog to keep it about basketball.

No, if he were a great player, we would have a blog devoted to loving him.

I can guarantee you that we have a lot more going for us that a guy who, along with Mike Tyson, is a member of the Free Kobe team.

Dude,

I couldn't care about Kobe either way, but the numbers don't lie. Perennial All-Star, ALL-NBAer, And All-Defensive team member. He's the best in the league, and even players as good as LeBron James admit this. Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest players of all time, but dudes like you mess it up by focusing on the negative all of the time. And if he was such an inefficient ball hog, than how do you explain this:

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/statistics

Bottom line is that Every GM in the league would give his right arm to have KB8 on the squad. So stop hating...HATER!

hmm, let me get this right, the sign of a great player is the fact that he gets a "hate blog"? wow, obviously you don't know muck about B-ball.

Man, last time I checked, the sign of a great player was winning, making his support players BETTER by getting them involved (just like Jordan did), not being divisive, winning championships w/o riding someone else's back (e.g. Shaq), etc, etc.

I do think it's interesting how The Kobe Bandwagon riders find this blog a waste of time, yet they have time to read the blog and even take the time to write something. Honestly, anybody that knows an ounce of basketball would realize that Kobe could help the Lakers win alot more games if he wasn't such a selfish prick. The sign of great basketball player is NOT playing 1 on 5, like Kobe loves to do. And even Luke Walton can make a wide open shot, if only Kobe would pass the ball, instead of playing 1 on 5.

Just the fact that Nike decided to do a commercial of Kobe Vs. The World shows you that alot of people hate Kobe. In fact, alot of Lakers fans hate Kobe b/c he's one of the main reasons why they've gone down the hill so quickly.

You obviously do care. Kobe is a great player, but he has to lead a team deep into the playoffs, or to a finals as 'the man' before I call him one of the greatest ever. You have to trust your teamates more.

It's funny you mention Hollinger 'cause according to many Kobe Fans, Hollinger is a hater.....

BTW, ask LeBron in two years who is better. I bet Kobe fans will use the "LeBron said" comment even when Bron is averaging near triple doubles.

One of the greatest talents ever, YES.

One of the greatest players ever, not yet IMO. He does have three rings, but with Shaq leading. I know Jordan had Pippin, but MJ carried them, he was the leader. Bird was the soul of the Celtics, Russell with the Celtics, Magic with the Lakers, Shaq's lakers. These guys were the engine. It's not just leading on the court, it's intangible things. I think Kobe has the ability to be the leader, he now has to show it.
