Raja v Kobe
Apparently, Raja Bell has been getting death threats for clotheslining Kobe. I have to say Kobe fans are crazier than I thought. And of course, they fail to realize that Kobe is the one that provoked the whole thing by elbowing Bell throughout the series. Raja Bell has a stellar record in the NBA. Kobe, on the other hand, came close to going over the technical foul limit this season. No one has ever complained about Raja being a dirty player, while many, including other NBA players and fans have complained that Kobe plays dirty and never gets called for fouls by the refs.
I'd love to see a Raja v. Kobe wrestling match. Raja looks like he can take Kobe any day. Kobe is a spoiled cry baby and he wouldn't have the refs on his side in a wrestling match.

Yes, Dobe fans (I'm talking about the ones who sent Raja death threats) are crazy. If you don't realize why, you should probably make an appointment with a psychiatrist.
Celebrities are the biggest bandwaggon riders. In the few years after Majic Johnson left, all those people were nowhere to be found until the Lakers started doing well again. And Jack Nicholson was right there in the front rows, rooting for the Clippers at the Clippers Suns series. So much for loyalty.
It is all about karma, that's right. Dobe has so much bad karma around him he might as well be cursed by now. Some of it has already come around to him: the rape trial, not making the playoffs last year, losing a 3-1 lead this year, and most insulting probably - losing his spotlight to "some kid" like Raja Bell.
Raja's calf will heal. Kobe's ego never will. Kobe is the one taking aspirins (or more like valium to suppress his rage) every time he sees interviews with Raja on TNT.

To put it very basic terms, what happened to Dobe and the Lakers after Shaq went to the Heat? exactly, now go back to kissing Dobe's ass.
As far the Raja/Dobe thing, Dobe finally met someone that put him in his place, and the beauty of it all is that not one SINGLE Laker came to his help, think about that really hard!!!. The beauty of it all is that Dobe acted as if he was all innocent, as if Raja snapped just out of the blue, NOT!!
Since Dobe fans have problems with logic, and remembering facts, I'll reap it again.

Mike Miller, who is that guy? Does Kobe even know him either? So what if he elbowed him too. MM didn't seem to mind and who came to MM defence? As far as the Wah-Ja Bell death threats, those are for Wah-ja to deal with and isn't worried about them so no biggy. Kobe never had a trial-only pre-trial motions. The case was dismissed.

Mike Miller is a starter for the Grizzlies, who, by the way, had a better record than the Lakers and beat the Lakers 3-1 in the series this year. And yes, Mike Miller did mind and so did the NBA because Kobe got suspended for 2 games.
The fact that Raja brushes off the death threats is just props to him, and doesn't take away from the fact that those people are crazy.
Kobe's case never went to trial because his defense attorneys were pouring so much dirt on the girl (in violation of Rape Shield laws by the way) that I guess she decided it wasn't worth it. The point I was making is that Kobe agree to settle the civil case for $20,000, something that you probably wouldn't do unless you were actually guilty of the offense. And, the girl donated the whole $20,000 to a rape victims fund, which shows that she didn't sue him for the money.

You're out of it man, I would not want Kobe to notice me (although I'm sure you do, you defend the guy like he's your mom and he would probably snub you for an autograph). And yes, NBA players should pay basic respect to other players, whether they're opponents or teammates, those are the rules of basketball etiquette and those of just being a human being.
No, you're the one that doesn't get it, whatever your name is (since you're too chicken to post it). Shaq is smarter than Kobe, he knows his place and knows that he doesn't need to pound his chest and waive the "Team Captain" banner to get respect. We all know that Wade is great. But Shaq is the guy that makes the difference on that team. There are lots of great guards out there. Look at Allen Iverson, 2nd highest scorer in the league. 76ers didn't make it to the playoffs. Look at Gilbert Arenas, league's 4th leading scorer. Why do the Wizards always lose to the Heat? Because of Shaq. Gilbert Arenas has matched or outscored Wade in most of the games betwee the 2 teams. It's the big guy that makes the difference.
Why don't you talk to me when Kobe makes the Western Conference Finals.

One of the folks in another blog, similar to this blog, is a die-hard Wizars fan, but he can't stand Gilbert Arenas because he thinks Arenas shoots too much; that's the sign of someone that thinks for himself, as opposed to just being a follower, like alot of Dobe fans are.

And, for 1000th time, we're Laker fans and the reason we hate Dobe is because he cares more about his own success than his team's.
And it's Dobe fans that are angry because they can't take any criticism against their loverboy. We actually made this blog for fun and try to make the postings entertaining (thus the cartoons, etc.)

the said thing is that GA was getting alot of the criticism that Dobe was getting, yet at age 24, GA has been able to improve alot from his habits of playing 1 on 5. I grew up with the showtime lakers. I started watching the Lakers two years before Magic was drafted so I was watching the Lakers being coached by Jerry West. I kept thinking why is this team that good even though they had Kareem and JW as coach. Then in a strange way I began watching Magic and Lary Bird and said to myself, 'man wouldn't it be great to have Magic on the Lakers?' and so it became reality and the Lakers became champions. After Magic retired, I knew the highs and lows in NBA franchises and that it would take years to get back being champions again. The Lakers know this and it takes special, talented and smart players that have the desire to become all- stars and future hall of famers to be a championship team. I am willing to wait for the Lakers to be that type of team again.

Maybe you should read carefully before you insult people. The purpose of this blog is to poke fun at Kobe and generate debate about his game, not call anyone names. The only reason we've ever insulted anybody if because people like you call us names first. What I said about Kobe fans being crazy, I was referring just to those fans sending death threats to Kobe, and it's obvious from the post. And like someone else said, this is Kobe Haters Blog, if you don't like it, don't read it. It's as simple as that. I may not like some conservative newspaper, so I don't read it and definitely don't send them hate mail.
What Kobe fans fail to understand is that this blog is meant to be funny (we list it under humor blogs btw). Kobe is not anyone I know, so I don't really "hate" him the way I would hate someone I know personally. He is as far removed from me as a fictional character. Basketball is just a game, I don't lose any sleep over it or the fate of any of the players. But I follow that game, think that Kobe is overrated, dislike what he's doing with the Lakers and have every right to criticize him. And it's fun.
