One Down. Three to go.

Kobe was 7 of 21 last night. Enough said.

Overall, despite the loss, a quite decent game for the Lakers. Phil Jackson's plan to make the Suns play inside did work to the Lakers' advantage - the Suns had to slow down their game and shot worse than usual. For the first time this season, I saw the Lakers play more like a team, a disciplined team with strategy at that. Lamar proved that he can execute under pressure - with 21 points (on 8 of 15 shooting) and 14 rebounds, he was a major reason the Lakers played a close game. Even Luke Walton, as lacking in talent or skills as I believe he is, shined last night with 9 of 16 shooting and a career high 19 points.

So what happened to Kobe? During a half-time interview, he said he was happy to see his teammates, like Smush and Kwame, develop and grow. In reality, we all know he's not happy with 22 points (and not quality points on 33% shooting at that). What happened to Kobe is that he can't do well unless he is constantly shooting the ball. Defensive minded plays don't work for him, even if they may work for the team as a whole.

Preview of Game 2. Kobe makes 30+ shots. Lakers lose again.

Oh no, Kobe loses, his fg % is terrible and he scores under 30, just another day at the office for kobe during the playoffs. Its going to be a blow out the next game, The suns were just a little rusty since nash sat out the last few games. And kobe looks like his starting to fade away as usual. The man's almost 28, if he isn't winning champioships now, hes not going to win in the future. you can't build a championship caliber team around him when he is thirty, general speaking it starts with young players, and plus kobe shows no maturity despite his age. ten years in the league already, in the next five years his body is going to be breaking down big time, and plus young players like amare and lebron are going to be winning all the championships. Sorry kobe, your not going to surpass MJ in any regard. Kind of sad when he is basically driven to beat jordan and that goal is unreachable for him.

I think people would of appreciated kobe if he wasn't such a smug a**hole and acknowledge that he stole his game from jordan. He acts like jordan is just some average from the past. 'who is this jordan guy?Oh yeah he could play some ball.' Kobe be yourself and stop trying to imitate jordan when you play b-ball or when doing an interview. I liked kobe in 2000, then i saw past his guise and his supposed greatest, even though he puts up average stats. What would of happened to kobe if he didn't have shaq? No rings, period. Nada, zippo. He should be begging for shaq to be coming back to the lakers.

What a punk kobe is, after all this time he and shaq weren't talking, and shaq taking some shots at kobe. And when kobe and shaq kissed and made up, kobe was all buddy buddy with him, just old pals. And the comment he made after the game, 'this is really good for african american children to see two african american men to get along.' WTF! How about it is good for everyone, not just african americans! He probably is trying to connect to a market that will buy is overly expensive shoes. And By the way, he doesn't have his own line, Lebron does. No buys kobes shoes, cuz they suck like his game.

sorry ive been leaving extremely long messages like these, but i've just about enough of kobe this year and needed to get alot off my chest, alot of my friends have heard my talk tons about how i hate kobe and his game and how he is just plain overrated! Love the blog though, the kobe fans don't have good arguments from what ive read.

Kobe Cutch? Nope, according to an article i read in a newspaper of all the quote end quote superstars, kobe ranks lowest in fg percentage in the final two minutes, and taking gaming shots. Carmelo anthony, now in his third year has more game winning shots than kobe does.

How is kobe team leader? He also claimed himself to be one. Way to lead kobe, 28 shots a game, and 4 assists. You really know how to lead your team to victory, your just a taller version of AI!

Hey, thanks for all your comments! This is why we created this blog - for people to have a form to voice what they really think of Kobe! This is even more important because the media is to busy brownnosing to the guy to ever tell the truth about his game.

Yeah I've noticed that, the media shields us from his bad games. Wow kobe goes for 43! (not mentioned, he took 42 shots!). For some reason they are giving this guy a break and a booster chair to sit at the big peoples table. Im grossed out, this reminds my of fox news channel covering for president bush.

I think the media sucks up to Kobe so much because: 1) they're desperate for a Jordan-like star (and there is really no one else out there, other than LeBron who is still young, so the stats and the championships are not there yet to adequately compare him to Jordan); 2) they want to get future interviews with him; 3) for some reason, they're afraid of him, like he's going to come over and yell at them the way he yells at Lamar and the rest of his teammates.

Notice when kobe got hit in the face during the suns game he missed the layup, finish the play before you start complaining. I've seen jordan get clobbered by three guys and still somehow makes the basket, and the other team can only slump their shoulders in dismay. During a playoff gane Lambeer kneed jordan right between the legs and he still made the layup. Kobe acts like such a puss when he gets hacked. Imagine him playing during the early 90's, all the vets would of feasted on him.

Kobe is planning to change is number to # 24. What does that mean? That he has one up Jordan? What a prick!!!!!!!

I read that somewhere as well. Is that really true? Apparently because his game is around-the-clock. Around-the-clock selfish and arrogant ballhog is what he is.
